Guess there’s no love, uh, lost between former “Lost” co-stars Dominic Monaghan and Matthew Fox — as shown by a nasty tweet Monaghan sent out in response to a request from a Fox fan.
When that fan asked Monaghan to get Fox to join Twitter, the actor replied, “He beats women. No thanks.” He later added, “Not isolated incidents.”
Fox, who played Dr. Jack Shephard on the 2004-10 series, is embroiled in a lawsuit dating to last year, when a female Ohio bus driver sued him, claiming he had hit her in her private parts while intoxicated.
The actor has countersued and denies the woman’s charges.
† According to a source who worked on “Lost” with both actors, “They never were friendly, but you’d think any bad feelings would be ancient history. … I understand they haven’t even spoken in a couple years.”
Requests for a response from both actors’ reps were not answered.
ROMAN HOLIDAY: There’s buzz that Mark Zuckerberg’s honeymoon in Italy was originally planned for later this year but got moved up to right after his marriage to Priscilla Chan — after things started looking “iffy” with Facebook’s increasingly controversial initial stock offering.
A Facebook source said Wednesday, “Mark just had to get his mind clear,” indicating that would be easier during what the source called “his Roman holiday.”
New bride Chan reportedly was key to convincing Zuckerberg that honeymooning immediately was a good idea — though that may not have had anything to do with the price of Facebook’s stock!
UNDER THE RADAR: As John Travolta deals with his ongoing “Masseur-gate” problems, the actor and his family reportedly are quietly ensconced at their hideaway home in the Bahamas.
† Forget rumors Travolta’s wife Kelly Preston is going to leave him. According to quite a few sources who have long been close to the couple — that will not happen. “Kelly’s in for the long haul. ... She loves John and is behind him 100 percent,” said a friend of two decades Sunday.
† Meanwhile, after long denying the claims made by the masseurs, Travolta’s attorneys were initiating settlement discussions with at least one of the men who sued the actor, RadarOnline reported Wednesday.
TV TALK : Things were hopping at the Wit Hotel the other day as Kelsey Grammer, co-stars Connie Nielsen and Hannah Ware and their “Boss” crew filmed scenes for season two— including in the hotel’s tavern, Cibo Matto eatery, the fourth-floor banquet foyer and the Wit’s uber-posh Paramount Suite.
MOVING ON: Paris Hilton is sad she’s history with her ex-beau, Dutch DJ Afrojack, but Chicago women may be happy the well-known ladies’ man will be at the Spring Awakening Music Festival June 17 at Soldier Field.
