Chicago’s Hollis Resnik cast in ‘Sister Act’

Veteran Chicago actress Hollis Resnik has been cast as Mother Superior in the North American touring company of the hit Broadway musical, “Sister Act.”
The show, which runs Nov. 13-Dec. 2 at the Auditorium Theatre, also will star Ta’Rea Campbell as Deloris von Cartier.
Resnik, who has worked with nearly every major Chicago theater company (she starred in the Chicago Shakespeare Theater production of “Follies” last season), also has been part of the national tours of “Les Miserables” and “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.”
Campbell’s Broadway credits include “The Lion King” and “The Book of Mormon.”
