Actors Francis Guinan, Tom Irwin, Ian Barford and Sally Murphy have stepped off the train to Moscow.
All four actors, previously announced as part of the cast for Steppenwolf Theatre’s upcoming production of Chekhov’s “The Three Sisters,” have dropped out of the production citing a variety of scheduling and personal reasons. They are being replaced by Scott Jaeck, John Judd, Derek Gaspar and Carrie Coon (the latter headed to Broadway this fall in the Steppenwolf production of ““Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”).
The show, featuring a new adaptation by Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tracy Letts, and direction by Tony Award-winner Anna D. Shapiro, is set to run June 28-Aug. 26. For tickets, call (312) 3351650 or visit www.steppenwolf.org.
