SCOTLAND YARD GOSPEL CHOIR BENEFIT
One of several benefits scheduled to help the members of Chicago's Scotland Yard Gospel Choir, recently injured in a van crash while on tour, Subterranean, 2011 W. WARSAW VILLAGE BAND
The Polish band is touring behind "Infinity," a new disc deeply rooted in Polish village music. But the songs also transcend their roots for a contemporary global beat. TRIBUTOSAURUS WITH BOBBY KEYES
Legendary saxman Bobby Keys played a memorable show with a reunited Joe Ely Band last summer at the American Music Festival. Now, he returns with local favorite Tributosaurus for an evening of tunes he recorded with the Rolling Stones, Joe Cocker, John Lennon, B.B. King and Eric Clapton, among others. The songs of the Buenos Aires-born songwriter and guitarist blend a variety of styles: Jamaican dub/reggae, hip-hop and Argentine tango.
