Along with Tom Verlaine, Richard Lloyd founded the band Television and fired one of the first salvos for post-punk. Their structured, clean two-guitar attack first appeared on the high-watermark album “Marquee Moon” in 1977 and inspired legions of New Wave players to follow. Among this annual street fest’s food booths and trinket merchants is another alt-rock lineup on two stages, including headliners Los Campesinos, the Chris Robinson Brotherhood and the Hold Steady as well as Canon Blue, Adam Ezrah and Chicago’s Empires, plus a DJ stage.
