He botched the 'Sheriff,' so he's done

Ah, the wonderful world of "American Idol." Never mind the recent presidential primary in Indiana (decided by just some 15,000 votes). Ryan Seacrest called a million votes dividing the top three of the remaining four contestants a "close race."

About 51 million votes were cast (the most so far this season). There were no surprises. The worst performer from Tuesday, Jason Castro, was sent packing. Castro forgot the lyrics to Bob Dylan's "Mr. Tambourine Man" and sang a strange arrangement of Bob Marley's "I Shot the Sheriff," sealing his fate.

The final three take the stage Tuesday at 7 p.m. on WFLD- Channel 32. Misha Davenport
