Two Chicago improv stars reportedly are headed for that great coast-to-coast stage in New York.
The Hollywood Reporter says Aidy Bryant and Tim Robinson are negotiating deals to perform this fall on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”
Bryant recently left the cast of Second City’s “We’re All in This Room Together” and is part of the iO team Virgin Daiquiri. She was in the 2010 Annoyance Theatre show “Swear Jar” with current “SNL” player Vanessa Bayer.
Robinson is another Second City alum and performs with iO teams including Cook County Social Club.
“SNL” is in hiring mode after the exits of Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and Abby Elliott.
