SIGNALING A CHANGE OF LANE
(Caution: spoiler ahead.) “Mad Men” embezzler Lane Pryce wanted out, but the actor who played him wasn’t ready to go. Jared Harris tells the Hollywood Reporter that when show creator Matthew Weiner revealed the character would die, he proposed a way to remain in the cast: “I tried to persuade [Weiner] that Lane had a brother, Blaine Pryce.”
