NEW YORK (AP) — “Good Morning America” anchors Josh Elliott and Lara Spencer will bring the show into the afternoon this summer.
ABC announced Monday that the duo will co-anchor “Good Afternoon America,” a one-hour spinoff of the morning news show. It will premiere July 9 and air weekday afternoons for nine weeks.
“Good Morning America” colleagues Sam Champion, Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos will make special appearances.
It replaces the canceled lifestyle show, “The Revolution,” which premiered in January.
