‘Jekyll and Hyde,’ ‘Anything Goes’ among Broadway in Chicago’s spring 2013 season lineup

The Broadway revival of “Anything Goes” is among the offerings in the 2013 Broadway in Chicago Season.

Broadway in Chicago’s Spring 2013 season, much of it already announced, is now complete. The full lineup is as follows:
— “Jekyll and Hyde” (March 12-24 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre), a new edition of the Frank Wildhorn-Leslie Bricusse musical that ran on Broadway for four years. The show, based on the classic Victorian-era psychological thriller will feature “American Idol” star Constantine Maroulis and R&B singer Deborah Cox.
— “Priscilla Queen of the Desert” (March 19-31 at the Auditorium Theatre), the campy road trip saga set in the Australian outback and scored with dance-floor hits.
— “Catch Me If You Can” (April 2-14 at the Cadillac Palace), Terrence McNally’s adaptation of the hit film about a teenager who uses his charm, imagination and forged checks to live the high life, featuring a score by the “Hairspray” team of Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.
— “Big Fish” (April 2-May 5 at the Oriental Theatre), the pre-Broadway run of a new musical by John August and Andrew Lippa. It is based on the film about an adventure-driven father and his son, and will star Tony Award-winner Norbert Leo Butz.
— “Anything Goes” (April 23-May 5 at the Cadillac Palace), the recent Broadway revival of the Cole Porter classic.
Off season “specials” will include “Potted Potter,” the Harry Potter parody at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place, a return of the Green Dayrock musical “American Idiot” and a tour of “West Side Story.”
