Chicago choreographer Melissa Thodos is teaming up again with Broadway legend Ann Reinking to create a work for Thodos Dance Chicago. It will be based on the life of Helen Keller, the remarkable deaf-blind woman who became a writer and activist.
Thodos and Reinking, who previously collaborated on“The White City: Chicago’s Columbian Exposition of 1893,” will again turn to composer Bruce Wolosoff, whose existing music they used for “White City.” He will write an original score for the Keller piece, set to debut in early 2013.
