Three of Chicago’s most gifted actress-singers — E. Faye Butler, Susan Moniz and Hollis Resnik — have been selected by the Ten Chimneys Foundation to participate in the 2012 Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship Program where they will participate in an intensive, weeklong master class this summer with Broadway star Joel Grey and director Rob Fisher.
The three of divas are among the 10 performers selected nationwide for this “immersion experience” to take place July 22-29 at Ten Chimneys, the National Historic Landmark estate of Broadway legends Alfred Lunt and Lynne Fontanne in Genesee Depot, Wisc.
Butler was jointly nominated by the Goodman Theatre and Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theatre in Washington, D.C. (where she recently starred as Aunt Eller in a hit revival of “Oklahoma”). Resnik was nominated by the Goodman Theatre (where she played The Old Lady in a recent production of “Candide”). And Moniz was nominated by the Chicago Shakespeare Theater (where she was recently featured in “Follies”).
