“War Horse” will be galloping into Chicago in December. The acclaimed epic show that originated at London’s National Theatre, received multiple Tony Awards on Broadway, and was the inspiration for Steven Spielberg’s currently Oscar-nominated movie of the same name, will play for three weeks, Dec. 18, 2012- Jan. 5, 2013, at the Cadillac Palace Theatre.
A mix of live actors and life-sized puppets, the show, based on a novel by Michael Morpurgo, tells the story of a horse caught up in the horrors of World War I.
