Scurrilous: Chicago's No. 1 couch potato
Barbara Walters, going on a 25-city tour to publicize her memoirs, will do it in style, says the N.Y. Daily News: She'll go by private jet, accompanied by her regular hair and makeup people.
Any author will tell you that book tours are the pits, with bad food, shoddy hotels and missed plane connections. But Walters will avoid such hassles, even though her publisher, Knopf, is not paying for all this luxury; she's paying herself, somebody from her entourage told the paper.
Her Chicago stops happen May 28. First, she talks about her life in a special at 9 tonight on WLS-Channel 7.

LEGUIZAMO TAKES OVER Q&A:Actor John Leguizamo blew off a Manhattan celebrity screening of his new movie, "The Babysitters," the other night, says the N.Y. Post, and spent the time "drinking wine at the bar," the paper's source said.
Fair enough. He's probably seen it 20 times. But during the question-and-answer after the film, John seemed tired and emotional. when the moderator asked the actors to identify the cast's first job on a movie, Leguizamo kept interrupting his co-stars, babbling on about his first job as a kid, working for a fast-food chicken place.
"He said he was in charge of bringing the chickens up from the basement," the paper's informant recounted, and that "there were two rats in the basement, and John said he befriended and had a name for each of them."
KINSEY'S HUSBAND IS MIA:It's a girl, born Saturday, for Angela Kinsey from "The Office" and hubby Warren Lieberstein, a scriptwriter. The baby will be called Isabel Ruby Lieberstein. All are well.
Oddly, however, the stories said Angela's mom was at the hospital for the birth, along with her co-star and close friend Jenna Fischer, but they didn't mention Warren.
Angie is 36.
