The trial of R&B superstar R. Kelly has been postponed yet again.

Cook County Judge Vincent Gaughan said today that the jury selection will not begin on Sept. 17 as scheduled.

“We are not going to be going to trial the 17th of September,” Gaughan said.

He did not offer any explanation, and attorneys on both sides declined comment, citing a gag order.

Kelly faces child pornography charges stemming from a videotaped sexual encounter with a girl prosecutors say was underage at the time. He was charged five years ago and the case still has not gone to trial.
