Rosie O’Donnell keeping home in New York

Just because Rosie O’Donnell will be working in Chicago doesn’t mean she’ll be living here.
A day after she announced she’ll tape her upcoming OWN talk show at the Near West Side studio now used by Oprah Winfrey, O’Donnell said she plans to keep her home base in Nyack, N.Y., where she and ex-partner Kelli Carpenter share custody of their four children.
“I will be commuting to Chicago,” O’Donnell told USA Today, adding, “Oprah and staff were very amenable to my kids’ school schedule.”
