Mom denies hitting ‘Modern Family’ actress

The mother of “Modern Family” actress Ariel Winter denied accusations she was abusive to her 14-year-old daughter, telling a court, “I have never slapped or hit Ariel.” Winter now lives with her older sister, Shanelle Gray, who made the abuse claims against their mother, Chrisoula Workman.
