2 Chicago area singers sent home on ‘The Voice’

Both local contestants on NBC’s singing show “The Voice” got the boot Thursday. Pastor’s daughter De’Borah Garner, 25, of Chicago Heights and mariachi master Julio Cesar Castillo, 21, of Portage Park didn’t get enough viewer votes to advance to the Top 12. Coaches Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton opted not to save them.
