Radar Online first broke the news Sept. 21 that Kanye West has a sex tape.
Today, the Chicago rapper’s attorney, Lisa M. Buckley, sent a cease and desist letter to several media outlets that published screenshots of an alleged sex video.
The 20-minute sex tape shows West with a woman who strongly resembles his girlfriend Kim Kardashian. The tryst was shot in a hotel room before he and Kardashian became an item. West’s lawyer claims the video was stolen from his personal computer and shopped around to different media.
AllHipHop.com obtained the legal document which states: “Be advised that the screen shot, as well as the tape from which the screen shot was taken, were illegally obtained and believed to have been stolen from Mr West’s computer. Your posting, advertising, marketing, displaying and otherwise disseminating the stolen screen shot and/or other materials on the tape constitute actionable violations of Mr West’s rights of privacy and publicity.”
A website called Sex.com has reportedly offered upwards of $1 million for the footage, though industry insiders estimate the price could climb much higher.
