Missy Elliot’s “Lambo” is in limbo.
The rapper traded in her 2005 Bentley for $85,0000 and put $30,000 cash as a down payment last year to buy a 2012 Lamborghini Aventador in matte white from Westmont car dealership Fox Valley Motor Cars, according to TMZ.com. The dealer was supposed to deliver the luxury car, which retails for $375,000, to Elliot by mid-2012.
But TMZ.com reports that the car remains with the dealer, who is said to want to change the terms of the agreement.
Elliot filed a lawsuit in Florida for possession of the car and damages from the dealership’s breach of contract. The suit says the company refused to ship the car by the agreed-upon date because the market value of the ride had risen substantially, according to the TMZ.com report.
