Casting call for Blago

SCANDAL SEARCH | Who's perfect for this sordid story?

December 25, 2008

Gov. Blagojevich asked us to "sit back and take a deep breath," but fans of political scandal don't work that way.

We want answers, we want justice, and most of all we want to see this whole thing played out on the big screen, with a menacing soundtrack and the colorful language unbleeped.

And we want it fast -- our lust for cinematic abuse of executive power is more than Frank Langella's Nixon can sate. To hurry things along, Glare has taken the liberty of casting "Blago: The Motion Picture."

Sorry, gov, but your first choice to play you is unavailable: Elvis passed away in 1977. Hope you like these other ideas. If you don't, please don't make our bosses fire us.
