“Sex and the City” star Cynthia Nixon marries her longtime girlfriend

Time to have a celebratory Cosmopolitan cocktail to toast “Sex and the City” star Cynthia Nixon.
She and Christine Marinoni were married Sunday, three years after getting engaged at a rally to support same-sex marriage in New York, her rep says.
Nixon wore a custom dress by Carolina Herrera.
Nixon, 46, and the education activist, 45, have been together since 2004. Last year, Marinoni gave birth to their son, Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni. Nixon has two children from her previous relationship with photographer Danny Mozes.
