PARK CITY, Utah — Comedian Tracy Morgan said he’ll be back at work on his sitcom “30 Rock” Tuesday after being hospitalized while attending the Sundance Film Festival in Utah.
Morgan’s publicist, Lewis Kay, said the actor suffered from exhaustion and altitude when he collapsed Sunday in Park City, where the elevation is 7,000 feet.
Hospital officials reported no drugs or alcohol were found in Morgan’s system, Lewis said.
“Superman ran into a little kryptonite,” Morgan tweeted Monday. “The high altitude in Utah shook up this kid from Brooklyn.”
Morgan was promoting “Predisposed,” one of the 100 films at the festival, in which he plays a drug dealer named Sprinkles.
Co-director Ron Nyswaner said Morgan’s collapse resulted from “altitude sickness combined with his diabetes. And he hadn’t eaten. He hadn’t had enough water.”
