Ciao, Bella: 'New Moon' stars talk about breakup
"I know what it's like to be broken up with in real life," Kristen Stewart says. "I don't know what it's like to be broken up by with a vampire." Ah, the perils of having a significant other who's a glowing immortal hunk ... and a protective one. In the "Twilight" sequel "New Moon," out Nov. 20, teenage Bella (Stewart) is dumped by her vampire love Edward (Robert Pattinson). You know how it goes: I love you, but I'm a vampire and it's really not safe for us to date anymore because members of my family want to eat you, so I'm going to disappear.

John Cusack saves the world in apocalyptic '2012'
He doesn’t have to say anything about world peace. Chicago native John Cusack will take a moment and find the deeper meaning to his new disaster film “2012.”

“It taps into the paranoia many people have about the world,” he says. “Everyone knows the problems with global warming and the other issues. “The movie gives us people’s fears and then a release,” he explains.

Five questions with Woody Harrelson
‘It’s easy to say that you’re anti-war or pro-peace,” Woody Harrelson says. “But it’s also important to get the perspective of the warrior. I’m a big fan of the men and women in the military who put their lives on the line every single day.

“I still believe the war in Iraq is absolutely wrong,” he says. “But I have the utmost respect for the warrior.” Harrelson is waxing political because of his new movie “The Messenger,” opening Friday.

Cindy Pearlman: Mo'Nique is unique. The native of Woodlawn, Md., goes where most comedians won't go. She can easily pinpoint the day she figured out that she was funny. "That was December 11th, 1967. That's when I entered into the world, baby," she says with a laugh. She was a child with a goal. "The only thing I wanted to do as a kid was to be famous," she says.

Gray's 'Law Abiding' makes plea as 'something serious'

Chicago native F. Gary Gray knows that he doesn't always call the shots. The director of movies including "Set It Off" (1996), "The Italian Job" (2003) and the current "Law Abiding Citizen" says that Jamie Foxx's mere presence on a set means that things can get unpredictable.

Jigsaw fans cut to the chase
The man who plays Jigsaw in the "Saw" movies isn't so cutting edge. Tobin Bell, 67, mentions that he really loves Halloween candy but refuses to take his young children around as the Jigsaw character. "Would I get a few more candy corn that way? Probably yes," says the soft-spoken, classically trained actor.
