Old Town School’s new building opens across the street in January

It’s now officially a campus. The Old Town School of Folk Music is expanding its footprint at its current Lincoln Square location, 4544 N. Lincoln. A new 27,000-square-foot, three-story building across the street at 4545 N. Lincoln will be lauded at a grand-opening celebration Jan. 9. The public is invited to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours and an all-day community sing-along. The expansion will house classrooms, dance studios and a versatile performance space.
