The Tuskegee Airmen were no match for Kate Beckinsale in leather this weekend as the fourth installment of the “Underworld” franchise coasted to the top at theaters.
“Underworld Awakening” was an easy No. 1, according to studio estimates from tracking firm Hollywood.com.
Fans turned out as well for “Red Tails.” The World War II film about the Tuskegee corps earned $19.1 million, $2 million above projections.
