If all goes as planned, there should be a Dolly Parton sighting Wednesday night in Chicago.
That’s when the national touring production of “9 to 5, the Musical,” the show for which she wrote her first Broadway score, is set to open at the Bank of America Theatre, 18 W. Monroe.
Parton is expected to walk the red carpet about 6:45 p.m. and then introduce the show from the stage to the opening-night audience.
