Richie, Madden make it official

Nicole Richie and rocker Joel Madden finally tied the knot on Saturday night, complete with an elephant.

The duo were married at the home of her father, pop star Lionel Richie. Madden’s brother, Benji, and Nicole’s friend, DJ Samantha Ronson, acted as the best man and maid of honor.

Nicole and Joel’s two children, Sparrow and Harlow, served as the ring bearer and flower girl.

Plus, there was that pachyderm: a trained elephant called Tai was part of the nuptials.

Richie, 29, wore two gowns for the ceremony: a hand-beaded Marchesa and a Vera Wang.

Among the celeb guests attending were Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale, Kris and Bruce Jenner and Rashida Jones.
