Grant, Khan split up
British actor Hugh Grant, whose latest movie, ''Music and Lyrics,'' opened Wednesday, and British socialite Jemima Khan, 33, ''have decided to split amicably,'' the actor's representative said Friday. Khan is the daughter of billionaire James Goldsmith.
Ex-wife blasts Eminem
Rap star Eminem's ex-wife, Kim Mathers, blasted her former husband during an interview Friday on WKQI-FM in Detroit, saying she has come to despise the man she twice married and divorced. She described him as unfaithful and uncaring -- and even disparaged the Grammy winner's sexual prowess. ''I vomit in my mouth whenever I'm around him,'' she said. Mathers also insisted Friday she is ''100 percent sure'' they never would get back together.
Ono driver pleads guilty
Yoko Ono's former driver, accused of trying to blackmail the widow of John Lennon for $2 million, pleaded guilty Friday to reduced charges and was sentenced to 60 days in jail. Koral Karsan, 50, pleaded guilty to attempted grand larceny in the third degree, admitting he threatened to embarrass Ono unless she gave him ''more than $3,000.'' His attorneys said that since the undocumented immigrant has been in jail 60 days, he can be transferred from a city jail cell to federal immigration custody. Eliot Mintz, a spokesman for Ono, said she told him she feels ''vindicated because this man has admitted his guilt.''
Spanish rockers to reunite
Spain's most successful rock act, Heroes del Silencio, will reunite for a 10-date tour of the United States, Latin America and Spain. Led by vocalist-guitarist Enrique Bunbury, Heroes del Silencio disbanded in 1996 after a 12-year career. Five concerts have been confirmed so far: Sept. 15 in Guatemala City, Guatemala; Sept. 22, Buenos Aires, Argentina; Sept. 29, the Forum, Los Angeles; Oct. 6, Mexico City, and Oct. 12, in the band's home city of Zaragoza, Spain.
Foxy Brown jailed
Rapper Foxy Brown, 27, spent a night in a Florida jail after police said she threw hair glue at a beauty shop employee and later swatted an officer. She was freed Friday afternoon after a $1,500 bond was posted for her, said the Broward County Sheriff's Office. She was charged with battery and resisting an officer with violence.
