After Pete Townshend mouthed “[expletive] off” at a 7-year-old girl sitting on her dad’s shoulders at the Who’s recent Hamilton, Ont., concert, the rock legend has written an apology letter. Seems Townshend’s anger was caused by the girl waving a sign saying “Smash Your Guitar, Pete!” — B.Z.
