‘The Office’ finale scheduled sans Steve Carell

Steve Carrell declined the invitation to guest star on the season finale of “The Office.”

NBC has announced the series finale date for “The Office.” The 200th and final episode of the Emmy-winning comedy will be broadcast 8-9 p.m. May 16. Steve Carell, who feels his exit from the show last year was fine, has declined an invitation to return for the finale. — B.Z.
