Friends of Demi Moore are concerned the actress has again become very depressed as she becomes increasingly pressured by estranged husband Ashton Kutcher, who’s eager to finalize the couple’s long-simmering divorce.

“For awhile I was thinking Demi had truly turned the corner and had moved on. After all she was again dating — of course a couple of more younger men [restaurateur Harry Morton and art dealer Vito Schnabel] — but that seemed good and seemed to make her happy,” said a longtime Moore pal.

“But now that’s over, she’s not seeing anyone now, and she’s constantly being bombarded by tabloid stories about Ashton and Mila [Kunis] and how they are about to get engaged.”

Another source close to Moore added, “Demi still carries a torch for Ashton. She just can’t seem to get over him and move on. It’s a shame.”

ACTOR’S ACTOR: For those who missed the Jan. 23 performance — fans of John Lithgow can still catch the acclaimed actor in the title role of “The Magistrate,” the Victorian farce that will be beamed live from the National Theatre in London to the Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport. For tickets to the 2 p.m. performance this Sunday go to

SWEET DATE: It’s hard to believe it’s been a decade since Mancow Muller married his great wife, Sandy, back on Valentine’s Day in 2003 — quite the memorable bash at the Chicago Hilton complete with “Star Wars” Stormtroopers and an eclectic guest list that included William Shatner.

To mark his 10th anniversary, the always edgy broadcaster will renew his vows with Sandy live on his WPWR-Channel 50 show next Thursday — with the Hilton re-creating the wedding menu, plus Lizzie’s Bake Shoppe cooking up some sweet treats.

Since this is Mancow, he’s got Dick’s Last Resort reportedly baking up a special “groom’s cake.” A source says, “Think a male body part.”

Enough said.

SCALING BACK: I understand that even TLC insiders are rolling their eyes at the claim by Honey Boo Boo’s mom, June Thompson, that she’s lost 100 pounds — especially since the world’s scariest stage mother insists she didn’t diet or exercise but merely “became more active” making the family’s bizarre TV reality series.

Just take one look at her, and it’s clear she’s lost nothing close to that kind of poundage.

BACK TO HAWAII: Had a fun chat with Chicago native Larry Manetti, who is excited he will be joining “Hawaii Five-O” on Feb. 18 — tackling a recurring role on the hit CBS cop drama, playing Nicky “The Kid” DeMarco. The actor, who co-starred on Tom Selleck’s “Magnum P.I.” in the 1980s, joked about again being on a series set in the Aloha State.

“I never wanted to go back there full-time, but this is perfect,” said Manetti, who admitted to being “pretty nervous” as he prepped for the role as a veteran lounge singer and owner of the “Tiki Lounge” — scripted as a onetime protégé of Frank Sinatra. Manetti, who knew Ol’ Blue Eyes well in real life, quipped, “I spent a fortune on voice lessons to prepare for this. … I’m singing ‘I’ve Got You Under My Skin’ for the first show! That’s enough to make anyone nervous!”

BOOK BEAT: Without question, Jackie Collins is a true pro at penning sexy page-turners, but “The Power Trip,” the writer’s 29th novel, will also have people entertained as they guess at the real-life identities of the people Collins used as inspiration for her characters.

As usual, the author turns to her many years of Hollywood experiences — which are far beyond merely being the sister of actress Joan Collins. Even a casual reader of this column or the weekly celebrity magazines will have no trouble figuring out who was Collins’ model for the marriage-averse fiftysomething male star once voted Sexiest Man Alive, or the very handsome Latin singing star who finally comes out as gay, or the British soccer superstar married to a designer wife.

Even though Collins made that last character black, it’s clear she was thinking of David Beckham, as well as George Clooney and Ricky Martin for the other two.

TV TALK: Australian Jacki Weaver, Oscar-nominated for best supporting actress for “Silver Linings Playbook,” is going to co-star in a CBS comedy pilot — again playing a working-class American mom in what would be her first major American TV series job.

“The McCarthys” — directed by North Shore native Fred Savage, the former “The Wonder Years” child star — is about a sports-obsessed Irish-Catholic family in Boston with a gay son. However, the clan couldn’t care less about his sexuality — they are more upset he cares nothing for sports!

† One thing about Phylicia Rashad: The actress who captured America’s heart during her eight-year run as Clair Huxtable on “The Cosby Show” is no fan of TV reality romps.

According to a source close to Rashad, her rebuke of the genre on Steve Harvey’s show Tuesday was mild compared to what “she really would say off-camera.”

Rashad did tell Harvey, “I don’t know mothers who act like that,” referring to the likes of Kardashian “momager” Kim Jenner or “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

“Do I really want to sit here and watch that? Is this what I want to do with the moments of this life?”

It was clear Rashad’s answer to that rhetorical question was a resounding, “No!”

SEEN ON THE SCENE: Pedro Rivera, a pioneer of pop Mex music and the father of Jenni Rivera, the popular singer recently killed in that private plane crash in Mexico, was seen lunching at Riva on Navy Pier and happily greeting the seafood eatery’s staff.

Bill Zwecker reports regularly on “Good Day Chicago” and “Fox 32 News at 9” on WFLD-Channel 32.
