Chicago native Virginia Madsen will star in a Pittsburgh-based update of the famous “Hatfields & McCoys” feud — playing the McCoys’ matriarch in an NBC drama pilot. It’s about a modern renewal of the feud after a startling death revives the fighting. — B.Z.
