Marvin Gaye’s son, Marvin III, has begged Lenny Kravitz to drop plans to star as the late Motown legend in a new film. TMZ reports it’s because the movie mostly will focus on the singer’s battle with drugs and depression, and his death — shot by his own father in 1984. — B.Z.
