According to a number of sources very close to Halle Berry, fiancé Olivier Martinez and Berry’s deeply estranged ex-boyfriend, model Gabriel Aubry, the battles over Berry’s desire to move to Paris and custody of her daughter with Aubry have gone way too far.

“This has turned into a total Hatfield and McCoy-like feud,” said a longtime Berry associate. “Everyone involved has lost all sense of reality, and they all are acting like very spoiled children.”

Most important, there are concerns that the fighting between Berry and Aubry — further complicated by the physical brawl between Olivier and Aubry that left the model badly beaten — is having an effect on daughter Nahla.

“She is 4 years old and has seen much too much and heard way too much,” said a source close to Aubry. “Many of us are deeply worried she will be emotionally scared by this horrible mess her parents have created.”

EXIT PLANNED? Even before Angus T. Jones’ infamous video — in which he trashed his “Two and a Half Men” sitcom as “filth” — show sources indicate his increasingly less visible role on the program likely would have led to him being written out of next season.

“Yes, it’s called ‘Two and a Half Men,’ ” said a reputable insider. “But remember, they already have replaced one of the ‘Men’ [when Ashton Kutcher replaced Charlie Sheen]. It wouldn’t have surprised anyone if Angus was replaced from the show.”

SWEET IDEA: A who’s who of Chicago chefs including Amanda Rockman (the Bristol), Dale Levitski (Sprout), Doug Psaltis (RPM Italian), Todd Feitl (Prasino), Mindy Segal (HotChocolate) and Curtis Hawk (ZED 451), plus Chicago Chocolate Tours’ Valerie Beck and WLS-Channel 7 anchor Kathy Brock, are on board as celebrity judges for the annual World of Chocolate benefit for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago — expected to draw 1,500 supporters to the Hilton Chicago’s International Ballroom on Thursday.

SCENT OF SUCCESS: “American Idol” winner and Grammy nominee Jordin Sparks will be at the North Riverside Carson’s store from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday — promoting her aptly named new fragrance: Ambition.

HANG WITH DR. LAURA: Fans of Sun-Times columnist Dr. Laura Berman can join the sexpert at Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club, 3700 N. Halsted, at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday for a “meet and greet” prior to the 9 p.m. season premiere of “In the Bedroom with Dr. Laura Berman” on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN, which will be shown on Kit Kat’s seven jumbo screens.

‘HITCH’ BITS: While chatting with the stars of the “Hitchcock” film, I picked up a few funny tidbits from stars Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren and Jessica Biel.

† Sir Anthony — who, of course, won a best actor Oscar for his frighteningly fantastic portrayal of the twisted genius Dr. Hannibal Lecter in “The Silence of the Lambs” — chuckled as he revealed how the production team of “Hitchcock” concocted a low-fat substitute for the large quantities of foie gras Hopkins had to consume while playing the gluttonous Alfred Hitchcock.

“Because I didn’t want to gain real weight — and was wearing a ‘fat suit’ to help create Hitch’s appearance — they mashed up fava beans to impersonate the foie gras,” said Hopkins with a laugh.

“The irony wasn’t lost on me,” added the actor, immediately re-creating his famous, chilling line as Lecter, “I ate his liver with some fava beans, and a nice chianti.”

† In “Hitchcock,” Mirren plays the director’s wife, Alma Reville, his longtime uncredited muse and chief advisor on all of his films. Since Mirren is married to famed director Taylor Hackford (“Ray,” “Dolores Claiborne,” “An Officer and a Gentleman”), I asked whether she and her husband frequently collaborated on films. “We often wish we could find something to do together, but no, if I interfered on his films like Alma did on Hitch’s — Taylor would throw me off his set!”

† Biel plays Vera Miles, who is still alive, and I asked the actress if she had met Miles prior to portraying her. “Not at all. She refused to meet me — and I totally respected that,” said Biel with a smile. “She let us know that was a closed chapter in her life and she had no interest in revisiting it,” though Biel added Miles did allow family members to chat with her about those years.

GUYS GATHERING: Men’s Journal magazine has named its Chicago Men of the Year, who will be feted Dec. 6 at the magazine’s special “pop-up shop” at 520 N. Michigan, set to be open Dec. 7 to 23. Johnson, Gordon Beckham, Jon Harris, Les Coney, Grant Achatz, Jerry Azumah, Doug Psaltis and this columnist, who is delighted to be included with this special group.

SEEN ON THE SCENE: Jillionaire Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was spied partying at Board Room on Tuesday. … The Reds’ second baseman Brandon Phillips made the scene at Harry Caray’s on Kinzie, while “Mob Doctor” star Kevin O’Connor and fellow actor Ian McNeice (“Edge of Darkness”) dined at Harry Caray’s in Lombard. … The Wachowski filmmaking siblings — Andy and Lana — brunched at Ina’s in River West, all decked out in Bears gear, prior to the game. … Speaking of Da Bears, Robbie Gould had his post-game dinner at Chuck’s Manufacturing on Boul Mich. … Mayor Rahm Emanuel had heads turning as he power-lunched at Le Colonial on Rush Street. … A recent diner at Cine in Hinsdale was the Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville. … Fans of Latin Grammy winner and actress Alejandra Guzman noticed her dining at Carnivale. … Kristin Cavallari and main man Jay Cutler were spotted at Prasino in Wicker Park earlier this week.
