Michael Clarke Duncan recovering from cardiac arrest in Los Angeles hospital

“The Green Mile” actor and South Side native Michael Clarke Duncan is hospitalized in Los Angeles after suffering cardiac arrest this morning, according to TMZ.com. His girlfriend, “The Apprentice” star Omarosa Stallworth performed CPR and was able to resuscitate the 54-year-old just before 2 a.m Friday. Duncan was admitted to the hospital’s intensive care unit, and TMZ reports that his heart rate is now stable.
