A pair of African-American football players reportedly plan to lead a class-action lawsuit against ABC claiming racial discrimination on “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.”
Nathaniel Claybrooks and Christopher Johnson say they attended a “Bachelor” audition in Nashville, Tenn., and were moved aside and left out of the normal process, TMZ reports. Their lawyers say they’ll file suit Wednesday in federal court against ABC and the shows’ production companies.
“We always want to cast for ethnic diversity,” host Chris Harrison told ew.com last year. “It’s just that for whatever reason, they don’t come forward. I wish they would.”
