As people speculate about what some Hollywood types are calling the Kanye West-Kim Kardashian “fling-ette,” I’ve learned that Kardashian’s stepfather Bruce Jenner isn’t the only member of her family who is counseling her to “take it slow.”
According to an expert on the clan, Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner, and her sisters Khloe and Kourtney also think she needs to be careful about rushing into any romance. “They’re just concerned,” the source said, “about her catching so much flak about her 72-day marriage” to NBA player Kris Humphries.
† An important note: All of the Kardashians are big Kanye fans, and their worries about Kim’s supposed new romance “would apply to anyone she’d be dating now,” added the source.
† West is said to be truly smitten with Kardashian and, as has been reported, a longtime admirer. As for Kim, she is said to love being involved with a true star, “and not just another pro athlete,” said my Kardashian insider Sunday.
† According to my own L.A. paparazzi sources, Bynes will be in for continuing attention from the paps — especially as the former child star continues to party hearty in the days since she was pulled over for that alleged DUI. But O’Neal’s positive attitude and yet another reconciliation with “Marc just has had a very hard time accepting that Jennifer is out of his life, at least romantically. Of course, they will always be connected by both their children and their business interests,” said a longtime J. Lo insider. Apparently, Anthony finally did get the message — shown by his divorce filing last week.
Diane Keaton, who will be the star attraction at the Oct. 17 fund-raiser at the Hilton Chicago. Other Lynn Sage speakers in recent years have included Rob Lowe, Goldie Hawn, Joan Rivers, Fran Drescher and Chicago’s own Bonnie Hunt.
This year’s fete will be co-chaired by Michelle Friedman, Andrea Gordon and Ashley Hemphill Netzky, and will add to the millions the foundation has raised in the fight to eradicate breast cancer — especially at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Northwestern University’s Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center.
BOOK BEAT: Fans of Chad Michael Murray (“One Tree Hill”) will want to know the actor will be signing his Everlast novel at the Barnes & Noble at Old Orchard, beginning at 4 p.m. Monday.
The Procop ring created (with Pitt’s input) to note the engagement of the actor and longtime love Angelina Jolie will be one-of-a-kind.
