RiRi-united: Rihanna and Chris Brown ‘definitely back together’

R ihanna and Chris Brown not only made beautiful music on those two new songs, but the ex-couple reportedly have dropped the “ex.”
Though the singers officially are not confirming anything, a source close to Rihanna said Tuesday, “They are definitely back together, and very happy about it.”
That comes as Brown’s most recent girlfriend, aspiring model Karrueche Tran, told pals she has an “open relationship” with Brown and isn’t worried about him reconnecting romantically with Rihanna.
I’ve further learned it was RiRi who strongly pursued the lover who famously abused her. That said, Rihanna has told her best friends that she simply needs Brown back in her life. Without him, despite her mega-success, she has told pals she feels emotionally “empty.”
An interesting twist: While Brown has religiously attended all his anger-management sessions and worked hard to turn his life around, he is worried that reconnecting with Rihanna may trigger old issues. More drama is sure to come, say those who know them both.
WHITNEY UPDATE: Because of the crush of fans swarming to Whitney Houston’s grave site, Fairview Cemetery management in New Jersey is looking to Cissy Houston to shell out for the extra security needed. Other mourners have complained about difficulty in visiting their loved ones’ final resting places because of the Houston hoopla. “While it’s a zoo now, I’m sure things will settle down pretty quickly,” said a member of the late diva’s inner circle.
Bobby Brown, just added a Chicago show. Tickets for New Edition, June 10 at the UIC Pavilion, go on sale through Ticketmaster at noon Monday.
THE RIGHT GUY? After three marriages and high-profile romances with Sean “Diddy” Combs and Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez may have found the perfect person in her latest beau, dancer Casper Smart, her friends say. One good J-Lo source tells me it’s his “totally malleable” personality — his desire to do “everything possible to make Jennifer’s life happy” — that makes him so good for Lopez. The actress and singer apparently wants a guy where she can “play Henry Higgins to his Eliza Doolittle, to reverse that old story around,” another Lopez insider said with a laugh. “But it’s important that he be his own man and be Along those lines, it’s all about teaching Smart how to dress, talk properly and handle fame. “If he keeps going like he has been, I think this relationship will have legs,” said that second J-Lo friend.

† If we’re lucky, we just may see Lady Gaga hanging out around town — if the much-anticipated “Chicago Fire” drama series from Dick Wolf takes off and if she continues her relationship with actor Taylor Kinney, just added to the pilot about the lives of Chicago firefighters.
