Nick Cannon has stepped down from his New York City radio show. Cannon said in a statement on the 92.3 NOW website that Friday was his last day hosting the 2-year-old show, called "Rollin'." He said doctors had ordered him to cut back on his professional commitments after finding blood clots in his lungs. Said Cannon: "Even Superman has to sleep."

Chris Brown showed up at Rihanna's birthday party: According to TMZ, Brown was apparently so paranoid about his appearance getting leaked to the public that he reportedly had guests sign a confidentiality agreement. Evidently not everyone signed the agreement because sources at the party tell TMZ that the pair were seen getting very close the whole night.
Marcia Gay Harden files for divorce: The Oscar Award-winning actress has filed for divorce from husband of 15 years, Thaddaeus Scheel. "For the sake of the couple's three children, Harden would like to request that the family's privacy be respected at this time," Harden's rep said in a statement.
Jessica Simpson to appear on "Biggest Loser": Simpson will appear on the May 13 episode to award a contestant with a shopping spree. The mom-to-be told PEOPLE: "I am truly inspired by how hard these contestants worked to accomplish their goals for a healthy lifestyle."
When Stephen Colbert shut down "The Colbert Report" earlier this week, his many fans were left wondering what could have caused the perfect attendance host to miss several shows. The New York Post reports that Colbert suspended production to be with his ailing 91-year-old mother. Comedy Central has only commented that the show has been stopped "due to unforeseen circumstances."
