Her Super Bowl halftime performance Sunday night was clearly a flashy commercial for her upcoming album, but now Madonna also has announced the details of her world tour in 2012.

Among the first 26 concerts scheduled across North America is a show Sept. 19 at Chicago’s United Center.

The Madonna 2012 World Tour begins May 29 in Tel Aviv, Israel, according to the announcement early Tuesday morning from Live Nation. In 2007, the Material Girl signed a record-breaking deal with the entertainment conglomerate worth $100 million over 10 years.

Madonna’s first album in five years, “MDNA,” will be released by Live Nation and Interscope Records on March 26.

For concert tickets, there’s a presale for Citi credit card holders beginning Wednesday (citiprivatepass.com). The rest of us can try to grab seats beginning at 10 a.m. Monday via LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com, the venue box office, or by calling (800) 745-3000.
