Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s tour will launch in Atlanta on March 18, the band announced Tuesday. The group revealed concert dates through July but none for Chicago, where Springsteen is rumored to be playing Wrigley Field in September. Promoting the album “Wrecking Ball,” out March 6, the band will do a U.S. leg ending with a Newark, N.J., show on May 2, followed by a tour of Europe. Among the E Street veterans hitting the road will be guitarists Nils Lofgren and Stevie Van Zandt and drummer Max Weinberg. Springsteen has yet to announce a replacement for saxophonist Clarence Clemons, who died in June at 69 after a stroke.
Exhaustion or substance abuse?
Demi Moore hospitalized
Demi Moore was in a hospital on Tuesday, reportedly being treated for substance abuse. “Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health,” a representative for the actress said. Specifics of her health troubles were not revealed, but TMZ said paramedics responded to a 911 call Monday night at Moore’s Los Angeles home related to substance abuse. Moore, 49, is in the process of ending her six-year marriage to actor Ashton Kutcher, 33.
