I am in control. That's the thing a lot of strippers -- not burlesque people, strippers -- don't get when they go into the business. They're in control every single moment. How they present themselves to people, how they talk to people, who they decide to give a dance to and how that goes.

When I work the floor I will go up to every single person and sit down and talk to them. And I can talk about anything. I can pretty much size someone up in the sense of what they're going to want to talk about, and that's how I make a lot of money. Because they're like, "Wow, you actually have a brain and you're a stripper!" 'Really? Thanks!

I have a system to what I do. I know who I've talked to, what I've talked [about] how long I wait till I go back to them. That's the way you have to tackle it, that's the way you make money at it.

There's a lot of really sweet, beautiful, wonderful people in the industry. And there's a lot of really stupid people. Not so much stupid as don't apply themselves. They choose not to utilize their brains to engage in life.

You can make from $500 to 10 grand in a night. [I've made] $9,000. That only happened once. This guy was a big oil guy. He had like 50 G's in his pocket. He had gone to a casino and won like 100 grand the day before. I ended up trying to tell him, "You don't have to give me all this money. You're really drunk. I don't want to take advantage of you." He's like, "I'm not that drunk." And then I realized he wasn't as drunk as he [appeared]. I tried to give it back to him and he was like, "No, you're taking this." And I'm like, "All right. I guess I am then."

I don't keep regular customers. It's not my style. I'm a one-hit wonder. I make my money off of volume. There's other types of dancers, they have a different angle, they make it off repeats. It's an approach that I'm not as comfortable with. That's a trick to me. It's not like they're going upstairs to do anything, but it feels weirder and different.

I used to work a lot of blue-collar clubs. It's men who work these extremely crazy hours and they don't have time for a girlfriend or they're socially retarded and they don't know how to get a girlfriend, so they just want to come in and see a pretty girl for five minutes. What's so wrong with that?

You don't judge your customers, because that's how you lose money. Why should I judge these guys? They're paying my bills. A lot of people do that in the industry. I'm like, "You're stupid. You should be looking down on yourself."
