Mount Trashmore

Mount Trashmore /mownt TRASH mawr/ n. A solitary hill, created from garbage, at Evanston's James Park, on Oakton west of Dodge. Though modest in height, it's the only hill around, making it a popular place to sled in the winter and a challenging climb for runners the rest of the year. Olympic gold medal-winning speedskater Shani Davis once used the hill to train, and local coaches are known to use a run up the hill as punishment.
