Camp O'Hare

Camp O'Hare/ kannmp OH hairah/ n. The derisive name for O'Hare Airport when weather or other problems force stranded travelers to spend the night in the terminals, often on cots. Everyone is homesick at this camp. And there are no catchy songs, team sports or bonfires (we hope). Just increasingly frustrated out-of-towners with expiring deodorant and dying cell phones. And lots of reporters to document it all.
