Beverly Hills

September 24, 2008

Beverly Hills /BEV ur LEE hillz / n. Not the 90210-California version but the 60643-Chicago model. Said to be named for Beverly, Mass., the home of an early settler, it also boasts some rare Chicago hills, including the highest spot in town -- 93.5 feet above Lake Michigan, in the 9400 block of South Claremont.
