Brad Spirrison biography

Tech Matters columnist Brad Spirrison has reported on technological development in the Chicago area since January 2000. A media executive and Internet entrepreneur in his own right, Spirrison is the president of Midwest Business Inc. and publisher of MidwestBusiness.com and SpeedNetworking.com. He previously worked for Thomson Financial, Fox Sports and CBS Corp. and holds a Masters Degree in Media Ecology from New York University. Spirrison is a graduate of Emory University and the Latin School of Chicago and, regrettably, is also a lifelong Cubs fan who truly believes this will be the year. This may explain his optimism when writing about local tech. He is married and lives in Lakeview.
