Innovation summit arrives Thursday

Innovation is redefining ways for businesses to successfully compete, and the second annual Chicagoland Innovation Summit offers a way to immerse public and private businesses in the innovation atmosphere.
The daylong program of presentations and workshops is aimed at managers and leaders in business, academia, government and non-profit interested in taking their organizations to the next level through innovation.
Attendees will encounter a wide range of thought leaders from the public and private sectors on innovation, entrepreneurship, business, talent pool development, collaborative networks and innovation metrics.
Game-changing innovators will provide a glimpse into products, technology and ideas they have developed.
All of the speakers will be available during the sessions to respond to questions.
The Chicagoland Innovation Summit is part of the Innovate Now! initiative sponsored by the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Foundation, World Business Chicago and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.
The daylong summit at Navy Pier begins at 7:15 a.m. Thursday and concludes at 5 p.m. with an hour-long networking reception.
Registration is $350, and includes lunch and open bar at the networking session.
