Certify your home at 2007 Bungalow Expo

Bungalow lovers can reconnect at the sixth annual Chicago expo and speed date with 150 vendors of products and services to restore and green their vintage homes. The Expo will host 14 workshops on green bungalow renovations, grants and financing. The expo is free.
Certify your bungalow on-site by bringing photos of the front and rear of the bungalow and a completed application form from www.chicagobungalow.org.
Certification, which is free, makes Chicago owners eligible for grants. Brand new owners can receive a $500 appliance voucher if they certify their home at the time of closing.
Mortgage bankers will also provide information about the Tax Smart Mortgage, the Tax Smart Rehab loan and City Mortgage, which are designed to help owners afford their homes in Chicago.
