Updated: November 9, 2011 2:37PM

1. Vision — “What do you want to do with your life? If you do not know what you want, no one can help you get it.”

2. The Mind — “It is saying every time you meet a roadblock, ‘How can I make it happen?’… go over and around a problem or dig a hole underneath.”

3. Value — “The marketplace pays for value. And the only thing that determines your value is your skill set. If you increase your skill, you will increase your pay.”

4. Reaping and Sowing — “This is the greatest of all the laws… Take personal responsibility for where you are…Stop blaming other people… You are in charge, and you can create wealth.”

5. Desire — “You were designed to succeed! You do need a few elements such as enthusiasm, persistence, and a strong belief and faith in what you are doing…You need to be a risk-taker.”

6. Teachability — “There are people all around you who have success in some areas of their lives…Being teachable means you are hungry, pursuing success, and willing to learn from masters.”

7. Forgiveness — “The most powerful after the Law of Reaping and Sowing. For you to move forward, grow, and stay growing, forgiveness needs to be part of your daily life.”

8. Promotion — “It is never the circumstances that determine your success in life, but rather how you deal with [them]… You must prosper where you are planted.”

9. Focus — “Whatever you focus on is what you get good at…You have to be 100 percent focused on the task in front of you. Don’t let your focus be split.”

10. Honor — “Honoring people is the number one key to successful relationships, whether it be personal or professional. When you honor people, people honor you back.”

11. Decision — “Everything in life boils down to our choices. When you finally make a decision, everything begins to click… whenever you put your heart into something, you succeed.”

12. Action — “When you make a solid decision, it is always followed by action, and action leads to success… Doors begin to open. People begin to help.”
